Driver Training Checklist
Confirm they have Band, Mentor, Driveroo and Zello and explain what each app is used for and that it is mandatory that these apps are logged into and trips are started and ended every day.  Done
Driving after a stop sign without looking at oncoming traffic. (Not following safety procedures will lead to termination)  Done
Go over all load out procedures.  Done
Instruct on breaks, a total of 3 breaks for driver, 2 paid 15 minute breaks and one unpaid half hour break. These breaks must be used after two hours of driving and within the last two hours of scheduled shift. Breaks need to be entered into flex app  Done
Instruct on merging onto the freeway safely and switching lanes (mirror check and physically looking back out of the window for blind spot)  Done
Instruct on proper contact compliance, if the requested delivery spot Is not accessible, they need to contact the customer using the rabbit to avoid hurting their scorecard ranking. Contact dispatch.  Done
Instruct on proper picture taking, picture must show box and background, no shadows, no body parts, no reflections.  Done
Instruct on safe procedures for pulling into and out of driveways, never back out of a driveway, always look left/right/left when pulling out of a driveway  Done

Instruct that this job safe driving is the most important part of it, package delivery is not nearly as important as preventing accidents with safe driving. They will be terminated for unsafe driving.  Done
Instructed on not twisting/cranking the key too hard (they do break) and if it isn’t turning to contact dispatch - not force it.  Done

RTS procedures. When driver is finished with their route, they need to contact dispatch via Zello for permission to return to station and also let dispatch know how many packages are returning and the reasoning behind each one. Driver should not be returning without permission from management or dispatch, or this will result in a write up. Once returned to station, same rules as entering the station applies except there will only be two lanes available which are lane two for package returns and lane four for no returns. Driver must shut off engine, return any and all packages to station employee if applicable and drop off totes that were used. Once out of the station, driver must pull up to closer in parking lot, receive a cleaning wipe and remove all trash from van. Once van is parked, Driveroo and Flex post trips must be completed and DRIVER MUST END WORK ON AMAZON FLEX and driver's mentor route is ended. All apps should be signed out of and everything should be returned to closer prior to clock out.  Done
