Additional Vehicle Information: vehicle has Sport chronic package
Summary: Exterior: Overall the condition of the body an paint was in good condition considering the age and mileage of the car. I did notice a few things off in the front and some orange peel which tells me the car was repainted in the front or maybe had a minor collision at the front area. The left drivers side parking sensor was not seated so during the test drive it was beeping randomly when nothing was around. This isn’t a major issue and could be addressed by the dealer. One other cosmetic issue noticed was some peeling on the black exhaust tips. Interior The interior seating was in good condition aside from some minor wear spots on the drivers seat which was photographed. I checked the buttons on the drivers side to make sure they didn’t pop out which is common on the Macans as they age. The car was equipped with all the floor mats and had the spare tire in the rear. One thing I forgot to picture was a 2 inch scuff that I felt during the test drive on the steering wheel. Overall the interior has less wear and tear than the mileage shows. Engine: As noted in the report, I did find the oil leaks present. The drip tray on the macan is a soft felt and it was a bit saturated. In the hole openings I did see a small drip that had formed. Underneath the car there was small oil puddles that were notated in the report pictures. Overall I would proceed with caution due to the oil leak. The Timing covers are known to develop a slow leak over time which typically requires an engine out service to complete the job. It is possible that the oil leak is being caused from a faulty oil filter o-ring or drain plug crush washer. The oil leak seemed to be more towards the passenger side which is where the filter and o ring are located. Test Drive: The car drove nicely and there was nothing to note during the test drive. Gearshifts were smooth and the car tracked in a straight line. Nothing to note about drive except for the parking sensor that went off a few times on bumps.
